Hey, I could be mistaken, but you'll pay $400 to "sample" a pair of Korns?

How much are you willing to pay to actually buy them?

Why not just travel to the nearest Klipsch Heritage dealer and audition them for free.

A used pair of Heresy's sell in the $400 range.

I can botch up a 1 car funeral.

I got mine '69 type C's for $400. Of course they needed some work. Both tweeters were blown, the finish was sad, no grills at all, and there was cockroach crap covering both woofers. Cleaned all that up, which was a lot of work, and now they look and sound real nice. Deals can be found out there.

I actually bought my 60's Khorns for 450.00. I live in NY so I had to drive up to a small town in Pennsylvania to pick them up. They are walnut and in beautiful condition and I also picked up a pair of Cornwalls for 250.00 but they had animals living in them and they had to be re-habbed big time. I stripped them down, vacumed out the insides (Lot of Lysol) and re-veneered them in Maple. They look absolutely beautiful now. I also upgraded all the capicators. So you never know.
