ygmn
I have looked and looked.... Question is..... Was Shrek 1 ever produced in widescreen? All I can find are Full Screen ones....at my local Best buys, Circuit City, and other local DVD retailers........ Thanks...... I have it on VHS...for some strange children reason...and would like to add it to my DVD collection.....
dmk
My DVD contains 2 disks - 1 is full screen, the other has the widescreen version. Took me a year to realize this, I just assumed that the 2nd disk was special features. Doug
D-Rex
They came out with a special edition that was wide screen late last year. I think this is it at BB online: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?type=product&id=62520&skuId=4294276 It is a little more pricey than the first one that was full screen. psg
I have the 2-disk set too. My gripe is that my kids watch it in english and the widescreen disk doesn't have french in 5.1, only in Dolby Pro-Logic. Yuck. So I'm stuck watching it in P&S. The english version is soo much better than the translation anyway...

gcoker
There is a very small difference in the widescreen (1.78) to the full screen (1.33). Is's not like the 2.40 widescreens where you loose almost half for pan and scan.
