Question about SHREK 1 DVD

Recommended Posts

I have looked and looked....

Question is.....

Was Shrek 1 ever produced in widescreen?

All I can find are Full Screen ones....at my local Best buys, Circuit City, and other local DVD retailers........

Thanks......

I have it on VHS...for some strange children reason...and would like to add it to my DVD collection.....

My DVD contains 2 disks - 1 is full screen, the other has the widescreen version. Took me a year to realize this, I just assumed that the 2nd disk was special features.

This is the same set I have. Not only is Disk 2 widescreen, but it is DTS1.gif

I have the 2-disk set too. My gripe is that my kids watch it in english and the widescreen disk doesn't have french in 5.1, only in Dolby Pro-Logic. Yuck. So I'm stuck watching it in P&S.

The english version is soo much better than the translation anyway...
