dodger
Hello: The was am LP entitled "the Unusual Classical Synthesizer - everything you wanted to know." I am trying to find a CD of it. PM me if you can assist. Thanks Much, dodger
jt1stcav
I've got practically every LP from Walter (aka: Wendy) Carlos and his (her) Moog synthesizers playing works from Bach to A Clockwork Orange. Same too, with those classical LPs from Isao Tomita, but that title's not known to me.

The full title was "The Unusual Classical Synthesizer, evrything you wanted to know but were afraid to ask." Great recording. Any help finding a CD would be truly appreciated. dodger Win
Tommytutor
I'm a fellow synthesizer nut myself. It all started when I got "Switched On Bach" for Christmas. I think the album you are refering to which I also had was "Everything you wanted to hear on the Moog Synthesizer but were afraid to ask", which I have not seen anywhere. Marvel
I found out where Michael Hankinson is. Sent him an email and got this nice response from him: Yes indeed - I recorded two albums in the early seventies here in South Africa. The first was called "The Classical Synthesizer" and the second "Synthesia" Unfortunately like so many artists I neve saw any financial rewards although both albums were released worldwide. You can find more about what I now do at my website, www.stonemusic.co.za and also the orchestra I conduct at www.jpo.co.za Regards Michael Hankinson -------------- There are some mp3 samples on the site. Nice stuff. Marvel
