gtDark
I just listened to 30 Seconds to Mars' self-titled cd and it's pretty good. Hard-ish rock with a twinge of electronic. Some of it is repetitive, but still a good listen IMO.

davmar
Dan Fogelberg: Listened to most of the album, once again his first. But I thought about how Alison Krauss & Union Station would do the songs, which Dan Fogelberg song was negitave enough for Alison to do, who would play the obious Violin solows while Alison was singing (she apparantly cant sing and play), I thought a mandolin would fit in there quite well, and if Alison wanted to credit me for stealing these songs for her to play all the better! synthfreek
M83-Dead Cities, Red Seas & Lost Ghosts CD. Great epic wall-of-sound tracks of guitar and electronics. The result of Air and My Bloody Valentine's offspring.
ssh
SACD: Hybrid Multichannel Spyro Gyra "in modern times" Burton, Corea, Matheny, Haynes, & Holland "like minds" John Mayer "Heavier Things" SACD only Billie Holiday "Lady in Satin" Whoever said that there were no good SACDs being made is full of Horse Apples. This list is of seriously good music, very well recorded & mixed. I'm disappointed in the "Telarc Classical SACD Sampler 2". I'm hearing what sounds like tape hiss on some very quiet passages.
