Good2BHome
I need some advice/direction. Im reasonably computer literate but I'm stumped. I have been "Save"ing" individual eBays sales to my hard drive for 3+ years on items that interest me (Klipsch speakers, for one) as a record of the transaction. About 6 weeks ago eBay made a number of changes and blocked this ability! I think there is HTML code that blocks the ability to save a page, but I just told you all I think I know! What is the code that blocks the ability to save a page? Is there a way around this? Is there a program that can capture the page in another way? All help is appreciated, Mike
neomartic
I'm not sure what you're doing exactly, but I just opened up a page for the sale of RB-25s on ebay and went to File --> Save As and then saved it as a web page.
Olorin
If you have Acrobat on the PC, or if you use a Mac, or Linux, or one of the BSDs, you can print the page to a PDF file.
Malcolm
Just what happens when you try to save?

J.4knee
Just a suggestion, try copying and pasting into Word or some other word processor. Its a pain but should achieve your end goal. I am sure there are better ways to do this but that is my quick suggestion
3dzapper
Mike, it has to be your settings. I just saved and opened a page myself to test. Just hit "file" and "save as". Then I went to documents and opened it. How were you saving all those pages? Rick
middlecreekguy
I print all of my ebay transactons on real paper. All in a note book.
