jwc
I currently own a pair of scalas and in the process of upgrading networks soon. Eventually, I would like a pair of Khorns if possible. However, my room may not allow it. Does the Khorn have to be "in" the corner such as right against the walls or can they be a few feet away. The listeners distance is about 12 feet from the speaker if that makes any difference.
Parrot
A Klipschorn needs to be in a corner or else have a false corner around it. Otherwise you are compromising its low end.

McKlipsch
I had my k-horns 3' out from the corners when i first got them and was waiting to drywall my rec room. My first impression was they were really lacking bass. After i finished hanging the board and slid them into the corners my god what a differance. Night and day. They do need the corners and they are worth it.
