  3. While I'm looking for a VN5MR i ordered a M97XE from Jacks. Anyone switched from the V series to the M97? Big differance? I would love to hear the V15V. My stylus broke before i got the chance. Any help on a new or good used VN5MR let me know. Any recomendations on a cart 200.00 price range? Im using a Thorens 125 with SME 3009 S2 Improved. Thanks Dave

  10. I bought my klipschorns from a guy that used to set up theaters for a klipsch dealer in Utah. Never really asked about the stamp on the serial #. I've also heard that these were sold to the dealers at a reduced rate and Klipsch didn't want them to turn a big profit on their kindness. Enjoy
  11. Was just given an Akai X-150D R2R deck with no take up reel. Anyone know where to get one and if i need to look for anything special? I know very little about R2R's just thought it would be fun to listen to. Thanks

  15. While i was using the urinal at Buddy Guy's Legends bar. Johnnie Johnson (Chuck Berry's piano player)came in and used the one next to me. I think i pissed on my shoe. James Cotton - I asked him what it was like to play with Muddy Waters. He said "Man that cat could sing".
  16. Joe Bonamassa is probably one of the best rock guitar players out there. I met him at Heratige Port Blues Fest in Wheeling last year great guy. His new cd "Had To Cry Today" is a must.

  25. Thanks i guess i should have read more carefully. I bought 91% isopropal for the anti stat agent. Works great by the way. Thought i needed both isopropal and denatured for the facial. Well gotta get it mixed up before the wife see's i'm using her pyrex stuff.
