Champagne taste beer budget
Just heard on the news that we're up 74 degrees from yesterday morning! Of course, it's still only 31 degrees, but almost ready to start melting something. Was -43 yesterday morning, luckily no wind. I was colder outside this afternoon at 20 deg and 20-30 mph winds than I was yesterday afternoon when it was a whopping -20. International Falls had -54, a scant 8 degrees from the all time state record of -62 set in like '94. Good for business though!! ok, back to your scheduled programming. Marvel
Now I remember why we moved our family from Wisc. to Georgia. Although it was only 14 when I went to work this morning. Marvel
Parrot
And I thought it was bad at -5 when I got up this morning. It's all relative My shoelaces froze this afternoon while I was splitting wood.
lynnm
We get Chinooks here in the Calgary area. For the past 3 weeks it has been about -25 Celsius ( -13 F ) but we have had a Chinook for the past couple of days and today's high was +8Celsius ( 46.4 F )

popbumper
38 degrees this morning in Dallas/Ft. Worth - afternoon high of 68 degrees. Not bad for January, but makes it hard to know what clothing is appropriate! Gotta love "winter in Texas". Popbumper
Champagne taste beer budget
My sister lives in Dallas, my parents in Sun City, a couple hours south. My parents are both MN natives so they understand cold, my sister, on the other hand, thinks 60 is cold. Sure she wasn't too happy when she woke up this morning. She can't comprehend it when I tell her we are 50 or 60 degrees below freezing, or that we dropped the temp in one day the same amount as if she'd go from 90 to 30 in one day. Gotta love the winters up here, weeds out the tirt-raft!! And yes, niced picture, I'd kill for some beach and bikini time about now!! (ummm.. the bikini isn't for me, bty.) Just the contents.
