greg928gts
Met a very nice guy tonight, Eric. He is the new proud owner of a pair of 77 Walnut Khorns and my 83 Cornwalls that he picked up tonight. These are his first Klipsch speakers and I think he's hooked! I guess he stopped by Charles' place in VT to listen to his system, and during a business trip around New England stopped to pick up a pair of Khorns in Mass. and then up here to Maine to pick up my Cornwalls. He's got a Lincoln Navigator (nice), and there's a lot of room in there, but still . . . I can't believe we got the Cornwalls in there with the Khorns! I had to chuckle as we belted in the Khorn top in the passenger seat. Eric pointed out that the suitcase went in last. Priorities you know! I hope he joins our group and posts here when he gets settled at home with his new Klipsch speakers. I told him that right now he really doesn't know what he's in for over the next couple of years. colterphoto1
Heck of a load, reminds me of the two Corns and two Chorus in a minivan coming back from Florida a month ago. We welcome him aboard. Dern, those Corns look clean! Michael
BS Button
Hmmm, 83 Cornwalls? What drivers? Serial letter Y?
greg928gts
My Cornwalls on ebay. They are particularly clean, so much so that I didn't even think about refinishing them. I think Eric is pretty happy with them. Greg
Klipschfoot
Those speakers will be worth 2X in ten years easy. Vintage/Retro is here to stay. (Hey, that's catchy!)
BS Button
K52's? Gosh, I'm afraid to open mine up. You certainly kept yours in nice condition. I only drink when I'm alone or with somebody. BS

greg928gts
I already have a pair of Cornwalls and Khorns. I bought them to resell. Greg
BS Button
May have ya on condition. They are also untouched other than new velcro. Yours were certainly exceptional. BS
greg928gts
Yours look new. Certainly a lot nicer than the ones I currently have. Mine need to be refinished, they are grill-less and they have Grateful Dead stickers on them! Not that there's anything wrong with the Grateful Dead . . . garymd. Frzninvt
Wow! Khorn's and Corns in the Navigator - Amazing. Well Eric has gone from no Heritage to all Heritage in one swift stroke. Nice! Wait until he gets those things setup and playing! Talk about getting hooked up in short order. Very nice guy that I had the pleasure of meeting. Congrats Eric! Most of all enjoy! Daddy Dee
That vehicle was completely full. Any observer would be amazed at unloading.... "they just kept pulling speakers out of the vehicle."
maxg
Woulda been even cooler if he had managed to connect them up to his car stereo for the trip home... Still - that is one big car!
