imperfectcircle25
I finally decided to get the RF-7's, I just got them the other day and got a great deal on them. I havent gotten a chance to get them hooked up yet. So once they are hooked up and broken in for a good week Ill let you guys know how they turned out. I cant wait!! How long should I expect for them to break in, I know my RF-3's took a while to really open up and for the bass to come through and the highs to smooth out. Any ideas on how long?? Speedball
I'm kicking around the idea of getting a couple...... I'm also interested in hearing what you have to say..
CECAA850
You won't need a week to appreciate the difference in the RF-7's and the RF-3's. Mine sounded slightly better over time but sounded great from the get-go.
pierceb
Good choice. I think you will be very happy with them. I tried to listen to see how long it actually took my RF-7's to break-in, but I never really noticed a difference. They sounded great right out of the box. -PB
jpm
I think mine smoothed out some after a couple hours. Loosened up the stiff new cones. Nice speakers.
knorman
mine got better all round after about 200 hours. I just let them run at a moderate level for a week solid and that seemed to do the trick. enjoy them. regards
