colterphoto1
I've got Carnegie Hall Cd and Group Portrait 4 CD best hits. WOuld this be a good addition or duplication? Big Chicago fan, esp Terry Kath era. Just bought their recent DVD, haven't had chance to give listen yet. Michael
capo72
I recently purchased that CD. I wanted to hear some big horn music on my newly aquired Cornwalls, and I was blown away with how accurately horn drivers reproduce brass instruments. Very happy, I must say. Now I just need a new amp. Jeremy
colterphoto1
I never thought of it that way, but horns do sound especially good coming through horns, don't they? Michael

garymd
If you like the way Chicago sounds on your horns, try some Blood, Sweat & Tears. The album with Spinning Wheel and You've Made Me So Very Happy sounds great on my Khorns and Cornwalls. It's a great sounding LP so I'd guess the CD is also. The MFSL SACD of "BS&Ts 4" sounds great but the album (made up of covers) just isn't my cup of tea. Something about them doing Sympathy For The Devil just doesn't sound quite right to me. Cornwalled
How about Earth, Wind & Fire's Greatest Hits? I used to have that on record until I kinda dropped it and stepped on it in one compound/klutz/idiot maneuver. It doesn't play too well anymore...lol. -Jon
colterphoto1
LOVE BS&T! Ever hear of another 60-70's band called CHASE? Same format as Chi and BST- can't find on CD. Michael Also Dad's faves, just happen to be a bunch of horn players Al Hirt, Herb Alpert, Boots Randolph- got all the lp's!
