Cornwalls playing Chicago

Recommended Posts

I recently purchased that CD. I wanted to hear some big horn music on my newly aquired Cornwalls, and I was blown away with how accurately horn drivers reproduce brass instruments. Very happy, I must say. Now I just need a new amp. 9.gif

If you like the way Chicago sounds on your horns, try some Blood, Sweat & Tears. The album with Spinning Wheel and You've Made Me So Very Happy sounds great on my Khorns and Cornwalls. It's a great sounding LP so I'd guess the CD is also. The MFSL SACD of "BS&Ts 4" sounds great but the album (made up of covers) just isn't my cup of tea. Something about them doing Sympathy For The Devil just doesn't sound quite right to me.14.gif

LOVE BS&T! Ever hear of another 60-70's band called CHASE? Same format as Chi and BST- can't find on CD.

Also Dad's faves, just happen to be a bunch of horn players

Al Hirt, Herb Alpert, Boots Randolph- got all the lp's!
