wuzzzer
I read on a different post that people have been selling fake Klipsch speakers? My RF-25s don't have any stickers or serial #s on the back at all. Should I be worried??
MrMcGoo
Mark, It looks like you bought your speakers on line. The grey market removes the factory serial numbers to protect the guilty. Your warranty is void without serial numbers. Odds are that the speakers are genuine. If they sound good, they are good. The fakes are apparent through lower quality drivers and cabinets. Frzninvt
It is not that they are fake! They are real! But when dealers tranship them to other dealers for resale at cheaper prices (which is against Klipsch policy) the S/N labels are removed so they cannot be traced back to the originating dealer. They are however real Klipsch speakers.
nannerneck
So if I am understanding this right, Klipsch is selling speakers to their main dealers, and these dealers are selling overstock or what ever, to dealers not suported by Klipsch?
