But Mark Wattles, a majority stockholder of Ultimate did win a court battle to buy 32 stores from the bankrupt Ultimate Chain and is a large stockholder in Tweeter, having recently increased his stock holdings to 11.4%. We have no hometheater Speakers, only the HTIB systems. I have just checked CompUSA's website, and they are starting to sell Klipsch speakers instead of the multimedia systems? Nothing wrong with that but now in SD County there is no retail outlet with floorspace for Heritage, Reference, or THX Ultra II lines. While I think Klipsch has done an admirable job with the new Synergy line it's just not the same. We have one store that has a pair of Klipschorns on the floor. Breier Audio, they are from the 70's I think, absolutely gorgeous Brazilian Rosewood signed by PWK himself and list at $15,000. Breier is our local Mac dealer and they do not flinch on cost.
