Paul
Ear i hear so much about the PB12-ISD that it is so good,Does this give a punchy chest pounding low end like the rsw 10,Which one of these subs give that best chest pounding low end for music and ht,I like hard hit low end not boomy,I know the price is quite different,I am thinking of two of each sub as dual setup,Can you help with explaining build quality and sound qaulity, thanks Ear
TheEAR
Go for th Sunfire if it is the Mark II or later, not the first "True Sub" version. The Mark II has more deep bass output than the SPL1000.All the Sunfires I had,all worked great never a glitch, cannot say the same about Velodyne amps. Paul
Ear i heard that the pb10 svs sub was a very hard hitting sub and very clean, can you suggest a sub that will thump me in the chest when listening to music or ht,You are telling me that the rsw10 is not capable. TheEAR
The RSW10 lacks deep bass output,I would go for the RSW12.
lo123
Checked American TV and Electonics web site (fairly new here in St. Louis) for Klipsch subs, and they do have the RSW-12, whereas Ultimate Electonics no longer lists the RSW-10 or -12 models. At $1299 plus tax this would run me around $1400, plus cabling. For general music and occaisional movies this is a significant investment on top of RF-35s and RC-35 center. My other option was SVS Ultra cylinder, which I think runs around $1200 give or take, with shipping a tad more.. Since my goal is to add bass without shaking my house apart or going deaf in the process, are these two subs comparable except at the lowest frequencies? The SVS seems to have more "features" on the rear panel, not sure they add much the RSW-12 lacks, any thoughts?
