Hornfan
Klipsch speakers one 15", one 12" and two Horns. Thinking one of the woofers is really a passive radiator. Any models close to this description? Thanks for the response. HF
rplace
Forte II would be my guess.

Hornfan
I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this. Are they worth $200? Assuming they are in good condition. Is the PR in front or back? HF
Jeff Matthews
You're right. You know the answer. Go get them. Not the CW's you wanted, but only $200.

Hornfan
Just so I can clarify with the guy that has these, is the passive radiator in the front or back? Thanks. HF
rplace
Back, and it should be the larger of the two in the back.
Hornfan
E-mailed the guy that I want them. Dad is gonna pick em up in NY for me. Darn, gonna have to wait till he comes down again. Thanks everybody. Keep your fingers crossed that all goes well with the transaction. HF
Jeff Matthews
Follow Rplace's advice and "Go man, Go." Get a few questions answered so you can satisfy yourself quickly as to what model you're dealing with, but don't mess around and lose the deal by looking at it too long. Jeff Matthews
Ah! You bought them before my words of caution (to hurry). Good move! $200 for Klipsch w/12" woofers and 2 horns (whatever model they are). Gotta be a steal at that price!

Good move! $200 for Klipsch w/12" woofers and 2 horns (whatever model they are). Gotta be a steal at that price! I'm pretty sharp sometimes. I figured that I could always tell him "NO" if they were not of interest (Yeah Right) When I see Klipsch and a low dollar figure like that I always check it out. Who knows what could turn up? Hoping to get the guy on the phone. Can you believe my Dad wants gas money? Cheaper and safer than FEDEX. What a tight wad! I know what he's gonna do, get em home and claim them as his and tell me not to bother to send the money. We hassle each other all the time about this stuff. Hornfan
Well, the guy just e-mailed me back. He has them listed as "$200.00 or best offer". Apparently he is taking bids and is up to $575.00. I told him to sell em and thanked him for his time. Here's the listing http://rochester.craigslist.org/ele/109231923.html What I want to know is who offered more and didn't just take them at 200? Well on to the next deal. Jeff Matthews
At $200, they would have been a steal. Oh, well! That's the way life goes... Hang tight for some Cornwalls if you're going into the $600 range. What range are you ready to spend? I'll keep an eye out.
colterphoto1
about the vaguest ad I've ever read. No photo- 3-4' tall description, what the guy didn't have a tape measure or couldn't read the tag on the back? idiot doens't deserve $575 for his speakers.
