johnyholiday
johnyholiday, Are these speaker enclosures variations / improvements on the old Karalson (Karelson??) front and back loaded horn-like enclosures of the late 1950s? Did you ever see the violin with the Karalson wings? I have an old Karalson my dad, a master carpenter, built for me with tender loving care in 1958. Last time I had a woofer in it is sounded pretty good (Impact!) but very little very deep bass. It sounded a lot like a JBL C34, with a little more punch (or peak!) around 90 Hz. The enclosure, now empty, is in my museum. I'll never part with it. How would you compare your enclosures to Belle Klipsch, La Scalla, and Klipschorn bass sections? They" Bleat",pinch of w3rd holigraphic delay ,a modern DSP in a 1950's polyresonant cab?, Paul Klipsch, Frequency measurement of Polyresonant 4-cavity box

colterphoto1
Past performance may not reflect future returns. Your mileage may vary. You can be right 90% of the time predicting the weather by saying that it will be just like yesterday, but you will miss every important change. You are not buying a "stock" you are buying equity in a company. Charts are great at telling you what has already happened. Your risk tolerance is best expressed by how well do you sleep at night without worrying about your investments. Watergate does not bother me, does your conscience bother you? Sweet home Alabama. Your rate of return for your stock investments since 12/01/02 should easily be over 16% annualized with a simple dollar cost averaging 3 fund portfolio. It's not rocket science, it's commitment and discipline. Are you saying that I should just save and hold and let my money managers do their job? Every time I look at a statement my heart flutters to see what the first number will be. But I have to remember that this number is but a brief split second in time of all the seconds of that month. My crystal ball is foggy and does not work well at all. My brokers say timing does not work so just wait out the long haul. Are they okay? johnyholiday
Bottom Line: Medium-term oversold conditions and extreme bearish sentiment have turned the market upward before any serious technical damage was done by the correction, assumption is that the rally will continue, but that it only has modest potential, the Atom bomb{or whatever} could go off,an then all bets are off, some small hope to the bears in that the monthly PMO has topped and has been falling for two months,{right panel},the market is building the right shoulder of another "Inverse Head an Shoulders Bottom" about five years in the making {very large an deep, with 3 smaller IHS inside it{find Waldo}}once the neckline is broken, an then retested, the depth of the formation ,will be add to the up side X 2.6 times {the golden ratio}up off the neckline, an unwraping in the timeline, of the length of the formation{~5 years}with ups an downs of course, Katy Bar the Door for the bulls
