Jeff Matthews
Sorry, I don't know how to properly size pics for posting on forum. They are out of proportion. For example, the width of the area in stone where the chimney is is about 16 feet. Looks like about 8 feet in the pics I posted. On my computer, they are correctly proportioned. Jeff Matthews
Just retrying the pics: Didn't work. How come when I re-size the pic. in my edit message screen, it doesn't re-size in the final post?

colterphoto1
Well, they're HUGE but they make it through. Can you run emthrough photoshop and shrink em down a bit first? Michael

Jeff Matthews
Well, they're HUGE but they make it through. Can you run emthrough photoshop and shrink em down a bit first? Michael On my end, it looks like the forum already shrinks them down and you have to click on the JPG filename link to see them full-size. Is that what you're doing? I'm still in learning mode here. Jeff Matthews
Here's the back - still untouched. Michael, you can see the painted version of that tongue and groove. The folks that built this place must have bought tongue and groove by the boatload. It was used for subflooring, roof decking, some interior walls. Jeff Matthews
Time to confess. My wife did all the work.
Born2RockU
Which room are the KHorns going in. The one with all the window facing the backyard?
Jeff Matthews
Close guess. See the far side of the back where the sliding glass door is upstairs? In there. EDIT: And now that I've advertised to the world a great place to get some free K-Horns, etc. in the middle of the night, I will add that we have 3 vicious dogs that have the run of the house and the land. Good luck to adventurers! I've always wanted to see what a skinless guy looks like. []
colterphoto1
Jeff, I'm very much digging the stone look. It's like a mini-castle. Mine, strangely enough is s 50's ranch with Indiana (Bedford) cut limestone all around. Are you able to recycle any of that exterior pine paneling or is it all scrap as it's torn off? colterphoto1
Oh, yeah, you best put some protective eyewear on that supermodel if you want us to believe she's actually doing construction work! Nice trousers! Michael
Jeff Matthews
See there, Michael. Yet more in common. You have a stone house, too. I like your place. What a beautiful house and lot! So Wintery with all that snow. Definitely gives more meaning to the Holiday Season. BTW: Can't save any of the exterior pine. To much warping over the years. It didn't hold up to rain too well.
