Marvel
If anyone gets an upgrade/new purchase bug and wants to sell a pair of LaScalas, please let me know. I can drive a bit of a distance to pick them up. Finish quality is not too important a factor (would have liked Mike's though). I would rather not do the ebay thing. Cheers, Bruce
Myhamish
It'd be a really long haul for you through ice and snow up here, Bruce, but I've got a pair of black mid eighties sitting here in the attic. Hamish
Marvel
Hamish, That would be quite the drive, even in June after the snow melts. [] I wouldn't mind an 8 hour drive. Sure is pretty up there though.... Hmmmmm... Bruce
Myhamish
8 hours gets me to about Harrisburg - Gettysburg, almost across the snow line.
Flason
I posted 2 pair for sale on the 2 channel forum, but so far no reply's. A friend of mine has a pair of '78 and 81's. I will see if he brought in some pics today to post. He wants $1K per pair. It is 600 miles from LaFayette to St. Pete so it may be costly with the price of gas now. meagain
Flason - I thought you were going to post pictures? Are you?
Marvel
I could make St. Pete pretty easily. I would love to see some pics. Bruce
Thumpelstiltskin
Marvel, Here's an ad I saw from the Palm Beach Florida area. "Klidsch Speakers Lascala Sound Great $1000. Pioneer Rt909 reel to reel, has been serviced sounds great. $650. 561-758-4294" Good luck, Rick.
Marvel
I could make St. Pete pretty easily. I would love to see some pics. Bruce Maybe I should add that the last trip to Orlando cost me a transmission, so IT wasn't a cheap trip. []
Flason
I asked him again today to supply me with pics. I will call his wife tonight and ask her for some. I'm sure she will get the pics to me.

Flason
Please accept my apology about the speakers. It was his wife that has decided not to sell the speakers. She feels they will fit nicely into the new house and she loves the sound. He was for selling the LAS and I made sure for 2 days before I posted anything about them for sale. I wont make that mistake again. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Marvel
That is not a problem for me. I'm thinking of other options too. I appreciate your looking into them for me. Bruce
