sunburnwilly
mOOn , you would get a much better response by calling him . And when you hear in the background all of the commotion in the Wescott house , " it's very bizzy " you will gain a deep appreciation for what Dean does , and marvel that he gets around to building crossovers at all . Deang
Hey Turkey -- that's one email I actually answered -- check your bulk folder. m00n -- getting all the parts for you is not a big deal, but I don't have an "instruction manual"! It would take me longer to write the thing than just to build them for you -- so I'll build them for the price I quoted you for the kit. I would enjoy doing this for you since you were one of the very first to take a leap of faith with the RF-7 mod. Al -- the day after we spoke I got an order for a center channel -- that coil is gone! m00n
Is there a difference between your Cornwall 1 and Cornwall 2 crossovers? The kit your putting together is it for the basic Cornwall crossovers? I've seen a schematic for the basic Cornwall crossover. It's up to you but I was kinda looking forward to building them. What I can do is lay out what I think is the correct way to put them together then take pics and post here on the board and get confirmation from people. I can add a diagram as well. I'm sure this can't be too difficult.
Deang
Well, you're using Cornwall II components, so you need a Cornwall II network! Hey, you want to build them that's great -- one less thing for me to worry about! Cornwall II.pdf
m00n
Yep that's the schematic I've seen.
DrWho
Hey Turkey -- that's one email I actually answered -- check your bulk folder. Bah! oh wait, I mean gobble gobble....ok wow, I know that was lame.... [] I don't think I've ever gotten an email from you Dean...I'm very good about going through my spam folders. Perhaps you've got the wrong address? I remember PM'ing you and those get sent to your email, so perhaps your reply got lost in the klipsch forum voodoo? m00n
Dean you rock thanks for that parts list!!!!! Question though, in looking at this part here. Is it any big deal that it's not the same spec as whats on the schematic? The schematic shows a .16mH, however the part you gave a link to is .15mH http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?&PartNumber=255-206&DID=
Deang
You guys are a trip. I'm so sorry. I've been waiting for the soldering iron to cool down before I do my mail, if I don't -- I lose track of what the heck is going on. My mail issue coincided with work blocking webmail access with the firewall, so I can't pick away at it during the day. I did change my profile to point to my work email address, but apparently a lot of that is hitting the bit bucket. What I need is an administrative assistant! The only person in the house right now who would have time for that is Temple, but she's only five, and besides that -- she's more suited for dictatorship of a third world nation -- not exactly what I'm looking for to handle my customer service department.
