ShapeShifter
TheEar, You now see the light at the end of the tunnel and know it's not an on coming train. Good for You! Jeff, I have a pair of those ALK Crossovers on order too. I'm pretty patient though, working on getting my other upgrades in place. Just think of this way, Santa could be delivering us a very special gift! Warm regards to all, Wes ------------------ "KLIPSCH IS MUSIC"f> This message has been edited by ShapeShifter on 10-27-2001 at 01:07 AM
Seb
yeah, i think some of our dealers have received the rf-7s... just waiting for the RSW subs to come in... i thought we would have to wait longer here in quebec... looking at the cost price for the rf-7s, it makes me hesitate... klf-20s of rf-7s?? the rf-7s would actually come out cheaper for me... weird. i think somebody messed up entering the values in our system. TheEAR
The RF-7 tweeter is better then any KLF tweeter, easy choice.I know since I have the RC-7,same tweeter. The upper range is very accurate, like nothing I heard from Klipsch before(and I heard almost all Klipsch speakers!). I would go with the RF-7. Not I dont like the KLF20 and 30. These bring the BIG slam home and work quite well with modest amps. The Reference series need a great amp to sound great. When you get the great amp the R series best the KLF series in quality. Now Klipsch should make a RF-9 or RF-10. And a RSW18 sub! TheEAR(s) Now theears
Anubis
Congrats on the RF-7's. I have been enjoying mine for a few months now (RC-7 C, RF-7 LR, and 4 RS-7's Sides/Rears). Absolutely FANTASTIC speakers. I personally think they are the best speakers they have made to date (and I loved the KLF-30's). The first thing I noticed was their incredibly big soundstage and extremely precise reproduction of sound. I am very anxious to hear what you think about them when you do get them. Don't forget to post your thoughts up. ------------------ --- ...transmission terminated... Anubis wildfire@kscable.com
