formica
Ok guys i thought i'd offer this up here... I got a Blockbuster card valid for 40 rentals between now and the 04/02/07... but the problem is my local Canadian Blockbuster won't accept it. It has no name on it and hasn't been registered in any way. I realise it's not worth it's advertised 200$ value.... but I'm open to offers of any kind. I am looking to build a CornScala type centre... but feel free to post anything here. ROb

Tom Adams
Rob - I too have one of those cards as a result of my Pany AE900U purchase. Did your local Blockbuster try scanning the card or did they just refuse to accept it? If it's a case of the latter, I'd be pissed off and raise some hell with Blockbuster corporate and/or Panasonic. BTW, I beg to differ as to the value of that card. While it might say 40 rentals, it pretty much goes by the expiration date. At least that's been the case with mine. IOW, I've rented waaaaay more than 40 times so far. In fact, my card was due to expire at the end of July and I got a letter stating that the card had been extended to the end of October! ironwoods
Those Canucks are really something. Do you think it will work at any US store, or only the one on Guam?
Guest " "
My kids do blockbuster quite often. But how would we determine if this card is any good at any location?

Did your local Blockbuster try scanning the card or did they just refuse to accept it? Yup... got it with my Pany as well... unfortunately it clearly says valid anywhere in the USA on the back. Blockbuster Inc and Blockbuster Canada Inc are actually two separate companies... that share certain expenses (marketing, etc...) BTW, I beg to differ as to the value of that card. While it might say 40 rentals, it pretty much goes by the expiration date. At least that's been the case with mine. IOW, I've rented waaaaay more than 40 times so far. That is really nice to know... guess it should add to it's appeal. Mine arrived in the mail early this week BTW... Here is the back of the card... (i'm the one who blacked out part of the image)...
