That is a bass bin, half of a A7 setup that uses a horn on top or inside. Here is a factory pic with the horn inside. When the horn is on top the cabinet is reversed with the bass port at the bottom. Wardsweb Posted August 31, 2006 Posted August 31, 2006 A7's are highly sought after in the collectors world. Here is a pic of the ones I ran for years in my system. I veneered them in walnut, make the solid walnut frames for the grills and added the solid walnut pedestals. They are some of the most musical and efficient speakers (104dB) I have ever owned. I love the sound of horns. These are the speakers I replaced with the new DIY horns I built. Quote
