allsmiles
I own about 22 Klipsch speakers and I just found out something I was NEVER aware of. I had NO idea there was a connector that would plug directly into the positive and negative speaker wire connectors. I have always wrapped the cable around the inputs after backing off the red and black plastic screw on tighteners. Am I dumb or what ?? How could I never have heard of this ?? Unfreakingbelievable !!!!!

colterphoto1
yup, I've gone to dualy bananas on everything around this place now. Even have little pigtails running from the backs of the old Lascalas. That way it's very simply to move things around. But thanks for you honesty! allsmiles
dual banana plugs like what has been mentioned on this thread.....they plug right in the the ends of the red and black screw down tighteners
djk
Klipschorns with the bananna jumpers to the top section sound better when you cut off the bananna plugs and use spades or pins.
Clarence
Klipschorns with the bananna jumpers to the top section sound better when you cut off the bananna plugs and use spades or pins. ? how is that possible?
djk
I've had the bananna plugs make intermittent contact and cause distortion in the mids and high end. It sounded so bad that we thought we had a bad K55M, and replaced it. It was the bananna plugs. Installing spades cured the problem.
allsmiles
Mine sound great with the banana plugs so far. I have no complaints

BEC
Dr. Bill could probably tell this better, but here it is. An Aggie walks into a hardware store and asks for a chain saw that will cut down 6 trees in one hour. The salesman recommends the top of the line model and the Aggie, suitably impressed, buys it. The next day the Aggie brings the chain saw back and says, "This chain saw is defective. It would only cut down 1 tree and it took ALL DAMN DAY!" The salesman takes the chain saw and starts it up to see what's wrong. The Aggie says, "What's that noise?" Next punch line: "This alligator ain't wearin' any boots either."
