Please note the questions asked of the seller, he does mention some damage. does this damage make this a deal breaker? Thanks! colterphoto1 Posted October 2, 2006 Share Posted October 2, 2006 The dust cap on the passive is no big deal, usually can pull it out with vacuum cleaner, it shouldnt' affect the sound. The cabinets are a bit beat. I've seen very good Forte's go for as low as $350, but usually $450-$600. Remember the Forte is essentially a Heresy on steroids. Maybe $200-$250. [] Other then size there is nothing Heresy like about Forte. If you can live with the cosmetics or better yet fix them up...get them. 300 or less = good deal IMO.
