PointSource
Hello fellow Klipsch Fanatics! I decided to start building a home audio/theatre system. I went to a local shop and auditioned some speakers. This was when I got hooked...... I decided on purchasing the Klipsch RF-3 II's. I honestly can't believe how good they sound. I sold all my car stereo for home equipment. This investment has paid off. I am so happy with Klipsch. I'm 20 years old and I can honestly say Klipsch will have my business for a long time. These speakers truly sound phenominal. Huge bass impact from these speakers! I love them. What are some of your opinions on the RF-3's? I didn't get a chance to hear the RF-5 or the RF-7's. How big of a difference are there between the three? Well, sorry for the rambling on. Just wanted to introduce myself, and to say, that I love Klipsch! ------------------ Ice is forming on the tips of my wings.....-Pink Floyd, Learning To Fly

mpgwagon
Welcome! Be prepared for a lifelong Kipsch experience! I bought my first Klipsch in 1976. I'm still buying them. RF3's,like any Klipsch, are very good. They are much better than anything in their price range. ------------------ Home Theater: Technics SA-1040DX Klipsch SF1 Fronts Klipsch KSW12 Sub. PointSource
Thanks for the responses! Is there anywhere I can buy Klipsch Online with discounted prices with warranty? Kind of like Sound Domain with mobile audio? Scubadj
Pointsource, Check out ubid.com or onecall.com for deals on Klipsch speakers. Also audiosurvey.com has listings of online vendors and their ratings. Good hunting and welcome to the Klipsch world. Don
TheEAR
Welcome fellow Klipscher. The RF-3's are good speakers for the price, the RF-5's have better finish, conections are are more smooth sounding. The RF-7 is a clear top performer in the R series, its twin 10 inch mid-bass drivers have the kind of punch no other R series speaker has(those who are complaining about this...GET A REAL AMP).And in the upper range the compression tweeter gives more detail then the standard tweeters in the rest of the R series(besides the RC-7,same tweeter). The RF-7 is worth it if you have the space and a good amp to drive them(good amp does not mean BIG power ratings, quality is paramount).
