Hardhead
Can (or will) anyone at Klipsch Audio Technologies tell me the frequency of the standing wave(s) that moving the woofer on the Cornwall III was supposed to alleviate? I'm talking about actual measurements, not a non-KAT person's calculation of what they think the frequencies might be. Thanks in advance. JJkizak
You might have to get a secret clearance for that data. JJK

pauln
My back of the envelope calc tells me that this standing wave must have been in the vertical axis - between the top and bottom boundarys of the box?
Klewless
Where did they locate the woofer?
IB Slammin
Where did they locate the woofer? The short answer is UP. Seems like I remember a thread on the topic, but can't pull it up. tc
colterphoto1
Where did they locate the woofer? it's still inside the cabinet [], okay about 4" higher up (more or less- I haven't measured)
Klewless
Thanks guys. PS. I was secretly hoping they would have moved it outside the box so I could see it do its thing! On the other hand, I suppose I could move mine to the front of the cabinet facing inward. Have to can the front grill though.

IB Slammin
6" Is that 6" up from woofer center line or 6" up from the top of the orignial baffle cut out? tc
