theryugobuddy
"300" is a beautifully made movie of glorious violence that illustrates the 300 Spartans beating back 2 million Persians back in 500 BC. Based on a graphic novel which was based on actual history. The visual effects are breathtaking and the heroic comraderie is infectious -- you find yourself pulling for these warriors to survive. Powerful metal soundtrack that emphasizes the action. The acting off the battlefield has weak moments where liberals are scheming while their warriors fight, but the intensity of the battles is riveting. This movie looks and feels different with dark, almost black and white cinematography and creative blood spattering and slow motion effects. Highly recommended--
