Keep in mind, that the lenth of Al's Trachorn would change due to the need to find the point where the throat diameter would mate with a 2" driver. Al's take was that it could be done, and if there was enough intrest, he could consider a 2" version of the Trachorn. Would you try and use Al's version in a two-way set up (and where would the lower cutoff frequency be)? 2. It is probably not appropriate to compare the two horns. The 510 had some tweaking done to it (tractrix vs modified tractrix). With all due respect to Martinelli (who makes some beautifully crafted horns - they do look good), but how would that compare to a horn that is professionally designed, engineered, measured, refined and produced by a large manufacturer that has that kind of time, talent and experience to do this stuff? 3. The Maritnelli horns are not inexpensive.
