boom3
I thought I was pretty familiar with Paul's body of work...and a then question suddenly popped up. Paul had the money, the land, and heavens knows, the talent...did he ever build a large straight bass horn, and if not, why not?
IndyKlipschFan
Good one for Jim Hunter or Roy Delgado IMO...
ZAKO
What would be the objective? for commercial use? what theater or stadium would want that monster? He wanted to design a horn that would fit through a door. He might have thought of it....I saw one in concrete on a Japanese site but nothing in Paul Klipsch,s back yard. Tony Reed
They've got one in Hope that's supposed to be the "unfolded" bass horn of the Klipschorn. It's something like 9 feet long. Tony

DrWho
Does Klipsch still have the unfolded version? I know for research purposes they messed around with an unfolded one (that supposedly measured extremely well too). The next time a Hope trip comes around we should bother Roy into letting us hear it.
