bhendrix
Hi AE, The grill peg can be glued back on with ABS solvent from Lowes or HD. Makes it good as new . . .

dkp
At the risk of displaying my endless supply of ignorance [8-|], why would there be two inputs to this sub? You see, there ARE dumb questions... lol -David
Agent Eagle
Yes gentlemen, the sub is gone !!! It sold for $600 to a local Klipsch enthusiast, here in Indy... And to answer the last question.. (Shruggs) I just put a Y-Adapter on it, and got a 3db gain out of it....

sivadselim
And to answer the last question.. (Shruggs) I just put a Y-Adapter on it, and got a 3db gain out of it....No, you didn't. Unless you were already operating it at maximum volume and had your receiver's sub level maxed out as well. The Y-adapter doesn't give you any gain in output that you can't get by simply raising the sub's level in the receiver or by raisng the sub's volume with the sub's volume control the same amount. I remember if correctly the regular input and the crossover imput No. To answer the question, it has two R/L RCA inputs for connecting a receiver or pre-amp via it's R/L pre-outs. If you are only connecting to the single mono LFE/subwoofer output of a receiver or pre-amp, then use the left RCA input (although either would work). The sub is also equipped with a switch (LOW PASS ENABLE/DISABLE) which will allow you to either disable the subwoofer's low-pass crossover altogether (unfiltered input), as it would most likely be used with the mono LFE/subwoofer output of a HT receiver/pre-amp, or not (filtered input), as it would most likely be used if connected to a receiver or pre-amp's R/L outputs. The other pair of R/L RCA plugs are unfiltered outputs.

You see, there ARE dumb questions... lol -David We make the sub's input panel very flexible. For users with older receivers and no sub or pre outs, there are high level speaker inputs. For users with pre outs, as in separate amp/pre amp- they would have L and R out, so having two RCA inputs on the sub allows an easy summation for mono signal to sub. If you have modern receiver with single LFE or SUB out, you can connect to either RCA or Y into both inputs.Isn't this stuff in the owner's manual?
