IndyKlipschFan
You know when I was in Hope, I got the feeling with the new paint booth and improved packaging these issues were covered? They looked beautiful going into the boxes.. I know there is a LOT of cardboard to protect them too.. I am surprised!
pzannucci
With black speakers, a paint pen that you can get a Walmart is mandatory. rmlowz, congrats. I would like to hear them someday if time permits.
Islander
My old La Scalas came with extra nail holes on the outside and one of the tweeters was mounted so crookedly that it was annoying to look at from all the way across the living room. When I replaced the K-77s with CT125 tweeters, I had to drill three new holes so the new tweeter would sit straight in that speaker. The CT125 had its holes in the right places, but three of the mounting holes in the cabinet weren't where they were supposed to be. At least with an old black La Scala, the industrial look and utility finish is not unexpected. Brand new Klipschorns should look more like fine furniture. scott0527
Wow, this is certainly a different quality topic than the usual China bashing thread. Wonder what's happening in Hope? I think I counted 4 people who were less than thrilled with their Heritage quality in this thread. My 2005 Mahogany Hereshy's were spectacular.
