Erik Mandaville
I don't normally care for red transformers, but the contrast with the powder-coated black face plate plus meter is interesting. He's done something similar with the ST-70, but I thought these MK IIIs were particularly sculptural. Some have commented on rather plain-looking equipment (an issue that has nothing to do with performance), however these are both simple and elegant at the same time. The metal and paint work is done to an obviously very professional standard, and I thought some might enjoy seeing these pieces. jtnfoley
I'm sure there are connections on the back, but... it'd be interesting to see them book matched (one reversed so the transformer is still visible.) Do-able if the base also has a removable top I suppose.

Daddy Dee
nice amps eric, are they yours ?????????? what does a mod like that cost ????????? Joe Joe, I'm butting in here. Autospec usually sells his Mark III's for around $1100. I'm not sure how much additional cost to have these as configured. As Erik mentioned, he does a similar mod on the ST-70, single gauge in the center, nice symmetry.
