Klipsch woofers

I attended an auction in Arkansas of some storage facilities and
picked up a really badly-home-made woofer box that appears to have two
Klipsch 12" woofers in it. I need some help identifying these woofers
and want to know what my options are in having them refurbished.

These
are 12" woofers with huge magnets on it... there's a note on the back
saying they handle 400 watts. The Klipsch logo is on the dust cover,
which appears to be concave (and natural - I don't think it's pushed in
but I guess it could be). The magnets are round, the frame is stamped
and doesn't have any vents on it. The cones are marked with these
numbers: "0045" and "315". The speakers appear to be in good working
shape but I get about 30-36 ohms across them. The foam surrounds have
been repaired with what appears to be silicon caulk and they could
probably be replaced.

Anyone have any idea where these
woofers came from? What's their model number and specs? Will Klipsch
service them? What are my options? Any recommendations on what they
should be crossovered at?

By the way, before you tell me these are crap, I should note that I paid $3 for both of them in the cabinet.

It appears the speakers have rubber surrounds (not foam ones like you mentioned). And it appears the rubber surround is in good shape on the one you pictured, so I'm not sure the speakers need any services unless you're hearing some voicecoil rub. Have you hooked the up to see how they sound? It's hard to say what model they might be from, but it's pretty safe assumption to say their likely from a Heritage line (or may the Professional line). Typically there is a number on the back of the magnet that might shed more light on what they're from. BTW, I don't think they are crap.

There's nothing on the back of the speakers except some hand writing that says "400 watts". They do look ugly; the voice coil does not appear to be rubbing - yes they have rubber surrounds - my mistake.

Anyone know what the recommended crossover frequency might be for these? Anyone have any other info to identify them? Is it normal for the magnets to not be completely centered?

The auction where I picked these up was basically a liquidation auction of some unpaid storage containers. This was the only Klipsch stuff there.
