Coytee
or is there some other product with a similar name? I don't know that the name is similar but "Rolls" evidently makes a box that is a competitor to the Art Cleanbox. About same price point too. Coytee
speaking for Doc but I'll bet "Nope" means Did you notice any issues with the low end with the ART. "Nope, Richard probably didn't because it rolls off below his output" I can't remember, was it the ART Cleanbox that could be modified for better bass response? Yep, see Marvels posts Might be confusing this with something else. Perhaps? Again, there is a "Rolls" brand of the same thing. I know nothing about it nor its performance. Marvel
Listening with that intent AND commensurate dollars just sounds like more work lol. I'd rather sit back and just enjoy what I'm hearing. I guess I'm perhaps an audiopunk? verses phile? ya... I can dig that, audiopunk! I can dig it too. That's why I still have LS and a 15 yr old CD player. Coytee
Tain't nothing wrong with LaScalas! I've owned a pair since 1979 and when my basement is done, they (I now have 3) will be my front of the HT system and in the HT world, my Jubilees will be pulling rear channel duty. NOT (mind you) that I'm HAPPY with that setup... I'm suffering through a WAF episode... Be it as it may... I don't ever plan on selling my LaScalas! Deang
Get a pro DVD or CD player and you can drop the interface (Cleanbox).
Marvel
Dean, he is using the dbx as a source selector. Still might work, though.
