I just ordered my first sub.

Yes its my first subwoofer. I hope it goes good with my Klipsch. Its a Elemental Design A3 300 with the upgrade driver(130v.2 for $30 more). Thank you for the replys. The waiting game is going to kill me. Also, I have some of the movie's mention above. I'm a big fan of "The Lord of the Rings". I think I need to get a SPL meter and then try to figure out how to use it. I also don't know which sub cable to get. I want one that dosen't allow any Hum. I have seen some on Blue Jean and Monoprices but still don't know one from the other.

Buy the least expensive shielded cable you can find. Some might have an arrow on the cable and be 'directional' and you'll want the arrow to be pointing in the direction that your sub is hooked up.
