Daddy Dee
Would like to see pictures of him landing ..................... claims crossing English Channel is next !!!!!!!!!!!! OB, I was curious about that, too. Take a look at the link. There's a gallery with about 15 pics from start to finish. At the end of the flight, he pops a parachute and floats down. Don't know what altitude that is, though. Interesting enough, he has an "eject" option for a quick disconnect from the wing, which pops his own (and I'm sure a different) parachute. Islander
That guy's been at it for a few years. There's a video of one of his flights here: Some technical details in this video (in French - no translation) (he mentions that it's like a handle and God gets a grip on him and carries him through the air): This video's in Spanish or Italian, I'm not sure which, plus a bit of English (It seems he's a former Swissair pilot): It looks really, really, exciting! jacksonbart
That is how I want to go. Just strap my 96 year-old (incontinent) butt into that contraption so I can kiss the face of god and go out in a blaze rather than in a hospital bed.
