BS Button
I'd like to order the heat sleeves and all from the same source
Islander
You could try the BFA bananas from Audioquest. They fit up to 9 gauge cable and are tightened to the cable with setscrews. They even come with a neat little Allen wrench to tighten the screws. You wouldn't need heat sleeves. The insulators are black and red, 2 of each in a set of 4 for $20. They're available in silver or gold, as shown in the picture.http://www.needledoctor.com/Brand-Stores/Audioquest-Audio-Connectors

Guest " "
Everyone is assuming your speakers use 5 way binding posts....but if we are talking cornwalls (based on your sig), then maybe we should be talking those terminal connectors with the screws as sold on ebay for dynaco and mcintosh amps. They hold very large gauges and look great. So, what type of connectors?
BS Button
Back of Cornwall 1's or equivalent type need the 1/4" fork, correct? I have a rather old Aragon amp. What will work there? I will solder and heat seal.
Islander
Maybe you need the "mini-spades", the size used with barrier strips. I was able to find some gold-plated crimp-on ones that would accept 8 gauge cable at a local car audio shop. I crimped them onto the speaker cables, then soldered them as well, for extra strength and to fill in any air gaps.
Rich_Guy
This site has great terminations at very good prices. I use their "Safe-Connect" banana the quality was excellent. http://www.speakerrepair.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=AHH_Banana

Only I didn't crimp them, I folded the end of the wire over to make it a little more bulky and then soldered the end. Very neat install. I didn't use the red or black sleeves.
