Coytee
I've got a very good friend who just got divorced. Her mean ole nasty husband took all the stereo stuff (typical male?? []) I've got a pair of old Heresy's (industrials) that I was going to try to sell and I figured I'd just give them to her. That would get them out of my house and give her a start on something. Now I'm looking for ideas on something to run them with. Something simple, probably have a CD player hooked up to it, maybe... their TV also? (just guessing) Any thoughts and willingness to bring to Indy? For something not too expensive, I dont' mind doing this for her... so don't be showing me some fancy $1,000 ideas.... in a perfect world, a nice old working receiver would be great. Thoughts? Moderators dtel's wife Posted June 17, 2008 Moderators Share Posted June 17, 2008 Coytee Just a thought....if a reciever doesn't pan out you could purchase one of those Tamps from Parts Express that runs on batteries or electricity, cost about $50.00 (I think) and an inexpensive portable CD players ($10 or $15 at Dollar Stores and/or Wally World!)....it's a start.... Dtel and I purchased one and they work great. It would at least give her the option of listening to CDs
