jamesV
I only heard one song so far on the radio, but I am going to the concert in Chicago this week. James
Don Richard
Way overproduced for this band. The producer, Brendan O'Brien, has done work for The Indigo Girls, Rage Against The Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Black Crowes. Rick Rubin did a much better job producing for AC/CD. But this is AC/DC and there are some good songs on the album. Get it.

Thirsty
Being an AC/DC fan from way back I hope the rest of the album is better than the one song I hear on the radio. As always I hope the best for them.
kaiser SET say
Not a Rubin production but never the less it is a very good CD. I have been jamming on it for a few weeks now and like their past releases it has several real ear catchers but for me the album does a ramp up, what I mean as you get past track two the thing just seems to get better and better. I really think it kicks in with track 9 (Decibel) which sounds just like a ZZ Top track (vocals encluded) until it kicks in to over drive. For me the last five tracks just meld this whole piece of work together[] I also got the new Metallica for my birthday last month and all I can say is the boys have stepped back in time to the beginning when the came at you hard, loud and fast[] If you like the Black album you are going to dig this one[Y]
LocknLoad
I was so looking forward to this one, but as a long time fan, it doesn't hit me the way others did. The time period around the Back in Black album, Thunderstruck, even Stiff Upper lip - were all a little more elemental in their sound, clean, powerful stuff. This one seems to be too "layered" or something. I know I'm not explaining this well, so lets try this - the beginning of back in black. (drums) Bomp, Bada Bamp, Bada Bamp - (guitar) dedoo dedoo dedoo. By contrast this album doesn't seem to have the raunchy garage sound. Worth buying, yes. One of their best, no.
