wow your wife sounds like she would kick my a**. Wife and I went to Disney after Thansgiving, so that was OUR present from Santa. Will surprise her with a nice leather jacket, music cd's, hope she does not read this forum!!!!!!!!
The RB-7 only have one woofer where the RF-7 has two, but the horns are the same. Are you doing this way to save money or space? If for money than go for it, If for space the RB-7 with the stands take up the same "footprint" as the towers!! I was wondering why the salesman didn't recommend the RSW-12 sub over the RW-12. Anyways you can't go wrong with reference series speakers no matter what system you buy. Welcome to forum!!
how are the rear speakers mounted and what is the size of room? looks excellent alot of work put into!!! whats hiding between the rears behind the black ????? on the walls?
this decision should be based on your rooms dimensions. Are you going to put the rb-75 in an entertainment system. If not, you will need stands that will make the same footprint as an rf speaker. But the rb-75 does have the same horn as the rf-7 so thats good. But as an opinion I would probably lean toward the rb-75! Could always add a rsw-12 or 15 to handle the low-end. Either way you go you won't be disappointed with the reference speaker line. I'm not!!!!!
If given the choice when in the setup menu on a dvd movie, which is better to listen to? Given that you can run both on your system what is the difference???
hate to be the big depresser of the bunch, but i have to work 12-hour shifts on christmas eve and day. but i have time at night to enjoy my family(ht) and oh yeah wife too.
no complaints, just praises about my rsw-12. One important thing about any sub is speaker placement move that sucker around to see which is better sounding for your listening area. As for the svs subs not everybody has the room for big a** tube!
