I'd say about an even mix of both to be honest.

Are Crown amps any good? They seem to offer alot of power for not alot of money. They are the rack mountable amps, for pro audio. I am asking about these: http://www.crownaudio.com/amp_htm/xls.htm How would they compare to amps made for home theater use, such as an Emotiva XPA-5? I ask because I was doing some reading over on the AVS forums, and someone was asking about how to power their pair of RF-7's and someone recommended Crow XLS series and I thought these were meant for stuff like DJ and concert use.

I would also like to know too.

I was also thinking about going to listen to some Martin Logans this weekend cause they have some used pairs on Agon for under $2k. Also, anyone familiar with Tyler Acoustics? There is a pair of 7u's on Agon for $1600 which seems like a steal considering they are $4k new.

Well since you are most likely getting my 7's, I need some new speakers to listen to. I went and listened to the 683's today are really liked them. Weren't as harsh as the 7's either. I was also thinking a used pair of ML's off of Agon. Gonna have to go listen to them next.

Very good idea. Although I have to sell the 7's to get the 683's, that is, if I like them. I will ask about that when I go in there.

I am going to go to a B&W dealer this week and have a listen to some 683's.

Hey everyone, I am thinking abour re-doing my entire system, now that I have the Emotiva UMC-1 pre ordered. I am thinking about getting rid of the RF-7s for some b&w 683's and getting rid of the 25's for some of there wall mountabel surrounds, and picking up one of there center channel speakers that would match the others. Then getting rid of the Adcom 5500 for the Emotiva XPA-5. Not all at once of course, but just starting out with the 7's and 25's. How do the b&w 683's compare to the 7's? Anyone have some input on what I'm thinkin about doing?

I would get the 705 just because it has the pre outs. But like lakedmb said, the 706 is coming so maybe wait and see what that has to offer.
