  1. LOL he gets a lot of those. His favorite spot is to be about 2 inches to my left at all times. Time to work on getting him ready of rhis Bh, hopefully in June and if the stars align well Jake's SchH1 then as well.
  2. OK on the nose: Carmel dominates to me. I asked a couple friends and they had the same impression, Carmel is the first thing you smell. This is not surprising because it is finished din a Sherry Cask like a good many 12 y/o are. I could not sense the sherry on the nose though really only Carmel. I must add a qualifier that this point. None of the “tasters” were “nosers” by any means we just all like and enjoy Scotch. On the tongue: The Sherry sweetness hit pretty fast, it is smooth almost too smooth at first. After a few seconds it builds to a nice warm finish which to me is very enjoyable but the body could be stronger. If you like The Glenlivet 12 y/o you’ll like this quite a bit as it is smoother and an easy to drink Scotch. If you are like me and prefer The Balvenie Doubelwood then this comes up a bit short but still worth the coinage. Last with a cigar: Gurhka Legend, I would have preferred a 5 Vegas Series A but this still worked well together. I’ll need to do more of a test with cigars as both the Legend and Ablerour both have a moderate body to them which is why I think the 5 Vegas Series A will be a better match. Overall well worth the purchase.I’ll enjoy this for sure. Actually it makes me want to get a bottle of the Abunadh. If you like peatier malts this one may not be for you but if you like smooth an a little sweet it is a good choice.

  13. Pretty much unremarkable overall with some bright spots, my 401K is turning around nicely for the most part, Thanksgivnig and Christmas were a genuine joy this year. I am still planting daisies and not pushing them up so yeah for me it was not too bad.
  14. They have fallen! Not sure what disgusts me more Adrian Fumble Petersen or the comback just to fall short and now become 3rd seed or worse....or the inept O-line the past 4 weeks. 1 and done in the playoffs I suspect is their fate.
  15. this makes more sense: http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/34602149/ns/sports-college_football/
  16. Emotiva puts a lot of HT bang/buck in the can when you compare them. I'll likely go that route myself along with Oppo BDP 83 or BDP 83SE.

  19. If possible I recommend to try make the time, the 3D is really worth it.
  20. IMO it will put the standard big screen out of business if they do not convert. Simply mazing, the 3D trailers previews were awesome too. It is just a completely different experience. We were seated so the sound system could offer its best, the subs moved your pant legs (at the back end of the front third of the theater), surround effects simply enveloped you, which was surprising because the actual system was fairly modest but very well set up.
  21. Anyone see it in IMAX 3D yet? We just got back from doing just that. Awesome 3D effects, storyline was predictable but the effects were incredible. I highly recommend it.
  22. IMO you should post a yellow and magenta warning sign to read: "Caution unstable nuclear reactor in basement"
