  1. Hey all, how would a pair of Heathkit W4's match up with a pair of Heresy's. I know they have the Williamson circuitry and all that, and that they put out 20 watts per channel. Has anyone ever heard this combination? Thanks
  2. Here's my sub. Its a little on the large side. I have the Heresys on the ground to see what sounds better, them eight feet apart and toed in on the ground, or eight feet apart, toed in, and three and a half feet off the ground.
  3. What all has the forum done for you? If it hadnt of been for this forum, what do you think you'd be doing right now? What all have you gotten from the forum? I'll start-- If it hadnt of been for the forum, I wouldn't have gotten my Heresy's from Dave. I wouldnt have gotten to hear Khorns powered by Dynaco Mark III's. I wouldnt know a lot of the stuff I do now. And most of all, I've met all you people! Thanks for everything you guys!
  4. Im in the Fort Worth/Dallas area. I have a friend down in Houston right now.
  5. You can go the DIY route with Adire or like manufacturers, or maybe you can get a deal on a smaller sunfire? I went the DIY route with the Adire tempest, and it landed me right at $500.
  6. Will the 5811's ever have a blue glow? When I get my tube amp, I want blue tubes
  7. Doesnt the NAD stuff have the soft clip tech or whatever?
  8. So what would ya'll prefer, an ST-70, or a pair of Heathkit Williamson 4's? I know the 70 will put out a little more power, but will the sound of the Heathkit make up for that? I'm trying to decide between those two. Suggestions?

Certainly couldn't use studs! ---------------- I didnt think about that with a car, but with a car, you have insurance. With a plasma tv, you'd be ****ed.
  10. Im looking for a tube amp, so I'd let my Harman Kardon AVR 125 go. Its in perfect shape, and I have the remote and manual. Has no problem pushing the Heresy's to deafning levels. You have RB-25's, right? PM me if you're intrested, and we'll work out a price. THanks
  11. Oooh, ok. Thats what I thought, but i wasnt sure.
  12. Thanks Paul! That clears up a lot!
