  1. Ok, here is my experience with them. I ordered them on a Monday, and received them on Thursday. I got them all set up, and they did not work. They were DOA. So I called them, and then they said to call Klipsch and see if they would repair them, so I did, but they were already closed. I hate doing this at the end of the week because I wouldnt be able to ship them until Monday. So on Friday morning, I called Klipsch, and they said that they would take them, but they also wanted me to check first to see if eCost.com would honor their warranty. eCost did not open until 8, the same time I had to be at school. So when I got out, around 3:30, I called them. We got everything set up until see adked for my credit card number. What they were going to do was charge my account for another $125 until they received mine, and then they would credit it back. I did not like the idea of charging me $250 with no speakers. So I called Klipsch back, and we got everything set up and they were going to pay for the shipping and everything, until they asked me when I bought them. Then they said they couldnt take them until 30 days after the day of purchase. After this, I was really PO'ed. Then I thought that the problem with these things couldnt have been that hard. So I took the amp out and sure enough, EVERYTHING was unhooked. I hooked it back up and now it works beautiffully. Now, there was another dude on here that bought his off of eCost.com, and he didnt have any problems. So, Good Luck! I hope this helped... EDIT: Oh, also, the have a very bad reputation with the BBB. They screw around alot of people.
  2. Yeah, just think... A 4000 watt RMS amp with a SPL over 150 db! Maybe not quite, but close enough. What would they use to power this thing? A clothes dryer outlet with its own breaker?
  3. Yeah, I dont like that either. How big are the drivers in the Super Junier and the Signature?
  4. Another song to listen to that is also on their website is Vogue by Madonna. It sounds awesome on my PM 4.1 and would probably knock you out with a Signature. But I am sick and tired of getting chewed out by my Dad because he doesnt like feeling the subwoofer. I had the volume at less than one fourth power and he said it was shaking his insides. It was on Behind Blue Eyes. It was the remake by I think Kidrock, but I am not sure...
  5. Sawsalls are good for payback. Have someone who you are mad at or someone you dont like? Cut their car in half! I have seen it done before!!!! It is the perfect use!
  6. I have the Philips PSC-604 4.1 Sound card, and the software that came with it expired twice. So I installed the 5.1 soundcard software on it. It works fine and is almost twice as loud as it was before. Is there anything wrong with what I did? I want to do this until I get my new soundcard. It now has a "Imaginary Center Channel." Is this ok? I want to upgrade with a fairly cheap soundcard under $100. I want THX certification, but it isnt that inportant. Any suggestions?
  7. Ok, if you did not want to use the speakers that came with your PM 4.1, you could use your "bigger" speakers in place of the original speakers. But either way, you HAVE to use the control pod. Now, if you did not want to look at the original speaker or you do not have room for it, you could take the control pod out from under the speaker, and if you are using a computer to power these, you could tape or glue the control pod to the side or on top of your moniter. That way all yu have to do is just reach forward and change the volume or whatever...
  8. Try hooking them up to a portable CD player. Mine are not that loud when hooked up to my computer, but last night I hooked them up to my TV and almost as high as I could take it was not even half volume, of course it was alot of talking and everything, but I AM SICK AND TIRED OF HEARING WVERYTHING IN MY ROOM SHAKE OR RATTLE. AT FIRST IT WAS COOL BUT NOW IT IS COMPLETELY ANNOYING. I PUT DOUBLE SIDED TAPE ON EVERYTHING, BUT IT RATTLED LOOSE!
  9. Well, you could stay there and get what you want (Other Klipsch)
  10. Gee, I wonder why they still have them... I wonder what the employee cost is on them. I bet they can get them dirt cheap.
  11. You know, he can always give me one...
  12. Huh, well you think since they are making so much they afford to loose a little to please us, dont you think?
  13. As long as it is the same ohm load it should be fine. But keep this in mind, the speakers that came with your system are meant to be with it. Hooking up a different speaker may not do it any justice... As far as a bigger speaker, why not replace the front speakers with the larger one instead of just the back? You can take your control pod off and just have on your desk or on the side of your moniter. That would be a cool setup. What did you have in mind for a bigger speaker? Just curious...
  14. Why do you think they discontinued it?
  15. This sucks! I was planning on getting one, or maybe a few... I guess not now. This really sucks...
  16. When I listen to Back in Black (AC/DC), at the beginning when the bass drum comes in, after each beat, my sub makes i guess you can say a counter beat. It is pretty silent, though. Does ya'lls do that?
  17. I dont know how they do it, or even if it is right , but they mentioned it on their site. Sure is weird, but it would have a heck of lot since it is sealed...
  18. I think he is talking about pressure. I know I am.
  19. Yeah, I have heard roxio has a good dvd burning program. I havent heard anyhting about Nero's.
