  1. Seems there might be another joining the flock. [Y]
  2. Music cd I finished them & simply tried to play them. Given the issues I was having on my fast (read huge amounts of sarcasim) pc, once I got them to work, I boxed them & sent them. They ought to work fine for their intended purpose.
  3. this is interesting. I've responded to this TWICE now and neither have shown up. Guess the forum is sharing some love with me. OK, I've ripped everything using a lossless format (wav?) to my hard drive. To make a long story short, I"m now trying to burn it also using media player. I think I have one disk done correctly, but am having some issues on another disk. yeesh... and the forum hates me today.
  4. I agree. Sounded like a great trip for all. Too bad everyone isn't more centrally located (as in, all on the forum).
  5. Dos use to have a "diskcopy" command and you could simply insert disk and diskcopy it. Today, I don't seem to see that choice. In order to copy a cd, must I first rip it to my hard drive and then copy it back to a cd?? I only have one cd drive too, I might add. (I mooched the dvd drive and took it home) How does one make a copy today?
  6. Interesting question and one that had never entered my mind. I had been looking at it as "May-see-oh"
  7. You brought up the LaScala II which implies a new purchase. With that as a price point you aren't TOOOOOOOOO far from looking at a Jubilee (perhaps 50%?) 109 db/w and 2 way. do a search on Jubilee & start reading. with that kind of sensativity, it'll handle SET stuff very nicely and it'll also handle higher powered amps & simply part your hair if ya want it too.
  8. Hmm...barter? You barter the cd's, you deliver them & you get to listen to the 402's huh? soooooo, whuts in it for moie?? [6]
  9. I must admit I got a big chuckle out of your artistic abilities. You still muffed on one of them (end two on right) but that's ok. My basic question was, which of them, am I? I'm first on left, Paul Cash is second, George DeLoach is in middle followed by Mike Sheard and Sandy Parrish on the end. I took this picture up to the high school reunion. As it happened, there were a NUMBER of people from "Hamilton Mini-Circus" that also took pictures to the reunion. Not everyone at the high school went to our elementary school so they weren't in MC. For those of us that were, we started about 3rd/4th grade and went through 6th grade. They became somewhat of a second family for all the many many hours of practice we put in, along with all the shows. As an aside, we performed at places like Millet Hall (Miami University), Freedom Hall (Louisville??), Univ. Tennessee, numerous parades, including 2 consecutive Indy 500 parades. If anyone has ever been to Kings Island in Cincinnati area, we were there performing at its grand opening. [H]
  10. Got the buddy of mine who bought the 3 Heresy's. He's now eyeballing a Sub-12 (thank you) and asking me what head unit he should have. He currently has brand (forget) lol. He will have NO MORE than a 5.1 system. Room is roughly 20x40 however the actual listening area is diminshed by an open stairwell and the other end of the room is currently kitchen & dining room. So, his actual seating area is probably 16/16 I thought quickly on my feet and said he should look at a Denon but I don't really know if that was right. He's a cheap ole fart, so we're looking for something modest as opposed to cutting edge. His room is kind of quirky. His fireplace is centered in the room and the corner of the room is where his big tv sits, inside a custom built in cabinet. (read that to mean, NO easy place for center speaker above nor below) So, basic 5.1 HT system to mate up with Heresy's??? Edit: I wrongly said he is 'not' and he in fact IS...stupid fat fingers!!
  11. better but still have the mix wrong lol. What I guess you missed in my comments is, we were standing in the same L-R order that we were riding in. First guy on left standing, is same guy on left on Uni, second/second... They are already in the same order & you simply mixed them up a bit. []
  12. Do I understand this right... "Soul Pride", is a 2 cd set and is costing anywhere from $92 to $250??? [] I am really confused on that reality, or am I missing something?
  13. Clever what you did there!!! Unfortunately, you did not get a SINGLE one right. You did give me a good chuckle though!!
  14. I stumbled onto his "Roots Revisited" (Childrens World) by accident on the radio & liked it. Furthermore, I thought the WIFE would like it and the more she likes it, the more she'll want to listen to the Jubilees! Ok, so I'm an underhanded, sneaky rat [6] Talked to her last night and she made comment that the Roots Revisted cd just might be one of her favorites so I said I'd get a couple more. As I look up Amazon, seems he has a bunch. I was wondering if there are any fans of his here that might recommend a 'good / better / best' listing of his stuff?
  15. I am slightly comforted that the sheep are FACING him (the camera), rather than facing away... hmm... let's not go there
  16. If I made the comment that my Jubilees ARE identical, who's side would I appear to be taking? (with zero intent of taking any side) I have now named them. One is named "Plug" and the other one is named "Ugly". Ironically, they are NOT consecutive serial numbers. I don't recall the numbers but for simplicity sake, I have numbers ending in 1 and 3 and Mike has numbers ending in 2, 4 (or vice versa) So between the two of us, we have 1,2,3,4. []
  17. and this was taken about 30 years later at our 25th high school reunion. Unfortunately, the guy on the far right didn't belong in the pic (same order as the uni's) The prior evening, the fifth guy WAS there and I didn't think until it was too late, just how cool it would be to get us all together again in the same riding order. Control of your thread, will now be handed back to you. []
  18. I don't ride bikes. As a kid, I DID however, ride unicycles and that included 10' uni's! I had a client who was deeply into bike riding. Unfortunately, some idiot introduced himself to my client, with the hood of his truck. Guess which yahoo is me? This was taken about 1973 give or take a month.
  19. dtel...the imagery of your comment simply makes me shudder... [+o(]
  20. Hard to sell them plug ugly coffins.
  21. Seems I'm late to the hug. (story of my life) Pen update: Still accounted for and currently clipped to the neck of my T-shirt, which happens to be the one I received from JC with the following printed on the front "If my music is too loud, YOU'RE TOO OLD". Now for all you hugaphiles... I'm gonna one-up you. I got to touch Amy's ear lobe. [A] As I began to spy Colters, he quickly escorted me to the door...[]
  22. Heyyyyyyyyyyyy Just cause it's flat & boring, doesn't mean it's flat & boring. ok... maybe it does []
