  1. You know what I noticed lately? Your whole little elitist speaker club is a bunch of friggin idiots. Grow up, learn something...........anything.
  2. Yes, but then I would be out the money I originally paid them to start. They are not getting off that easy. Besides I'm curious to see if they actually do make equiptment that really works.
  3. I am dealing with the Technical Product Manager of the United States for NAD, based in Canada, and occasionally the National Sales Director for the United States. Yes the first and second receiver was tested with different equiptment, even totally different systems(the T752 has only been on a different system), it is not the equiptment(sound like them). Is it so hard to believe this company just sucks? Documenting is my number one priority(receipts, emails, service summaries, ect....). We'll see what they have to say about the T752. It has a 1 year warranty with it since the exchange has taken place. I honestly hope they dont have the balls to suggest I start sending this one back and forth, this is why a replacement was in order in the first place. We'll see. I still have my Denon 3803 which I am overly please with, so its no sweat.
  4. Do they tell you the decibel levels of your different frequencies?
  5. Where can I get a SPL Meter and about how much do they run? Are these the things that tell you the decibel levels of your different frequencies?
  6. You are not going to believe this. NAD replaced the T751 with a refurbished T752 and IT'S LEFT REAR CHANNEL DOESNT WORK!!!!!! It has a crackling sound in all surroung modes I noticed as soon as I hooked it up. These people have serious freaking issues!
  7. Now we have to read through even more stuff that has nothing to do with the category because people have no where else to write it. The more generalized they make 'em the more garbage you have to pick through.
  8. How did this post get in this category?
  9. I have no choice but to assume your unit is in fact defective. This is not supposed to and does not happen with either of these Denon models under normal circumstances.
  10. Well this is Denon's half arsed reply: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, You have two choices for the front speakers. SMALL, which sends most of the low frequencies to the subwoofer and not the front speakers. LARGE, which sends most of the low frequencies to the front speakers and not the subwoofer. Whatever the crossover is set at that is what will be sent to either the front speakers or subwoofer depending what size you have them set at. Our higher end receivers will allow you to set the crossover below 80HZ. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- P.S. I am using bananas with my 3803 also. The outputs on this unit are exactly like all others I've used and seen.
  11. I am going to be honest. I have had Kenwood (300 something series), NAD T751, and Denon 3803 hooked up to my Klipsch since I've had them and heard a Sony . The best sound hands down was the NAD. I had some problems with the unit and tried getting it repaired a few times before contacting NAD themselves. To make a long story short, after contacting them they offered to replace the T751 with a T752. So there maybe some built quality issues(as is with many electronic companies) but they showed me that they stand behind there product and will support there customers. Therefore with this new knowledge of the integrity of NAD I would not only recommend them, but seriously doubt you will match the sound quality with ANYTHING from Bestbuy, Circuit City, ect...... and in my opinion they have the other products in their price range for lunch. If sound quality is what your after then there you go, anything else you should probably look elsewhere. P.S. Harmon Kardon is a good consideration also.
  12. Edit. Sorry duplicate post.
  13. I'm am amazed not to see Eric Clapton Unplugged, this is a wonderful acoustic set. Another good one is James Taylor Live at the Beacon Theater.
  14. I have contacted Denon again on this subject for a complete detailed summary of the crossover duties, as well as how to egage it and disengage it. I have contacted them before but their reply really didnt pertain to the question. I was very specific this time. We'll see.
  15. I checked out the avsforum. Is there anyway to get rid of all those annoying colors, it hurts my eyes to stay on there too long.
  16. what has been done to the one to convert it into a center. Also, do you have pics? I am really looking for surrounds for my KLF 20s.

Did you record disk to disc or did you first copy to your hard drive, then make the copy from the image on the hard drive? ---------------- On 5/11/2004 10:38:15 PM ez8947 wrote: why do all my CD-Rs sound like sh!t? Not one can compare to my originals. ---------------- ---------------- I am not throwing blows at anyone, I would really like to have great sounding CD-Rs. Referring to the question above, I can and have done both. My desktop has 2 drives to go disc to disc, and my laptop rips the cd to the hard drive and takes the info from there. Does this procedure make a difference? Oh yeah, and I just noticed I have graduated to "Crazy Poster"!!! Wooo Whoooo (be sure to catch my 2nd show at 11:00
  18. why do all my CD-Rs sound like sh!t? I have been making them for years, different burners, different speeds, different CDR brands, but same sh!t. Not one can compare to my originals.
  19. A friend and I were discussing this awhile back. Why on earth would klipsch start making all 2-way???????????? I like my KLF 20s and at this point wouldnt dream of upgrading (for the lack of a better word) to the reference series. Dont get me wrong he has reference and they are good, but............
  20. Do me a favor and just go look at some LCDs. I'm hooked.
  21. I dont understand how copying a cd to anything can make an improvement. When you burn a cd the pits created by the burner are more shallow and less defined than on the original cd, therefore less information results in degraded quality. That could be a reason cheaper players will usually read CD-Rs but better built ones will not, they need more information. I may be wrong.
  22. Ebay is supposed to be a "Hot Stock" right now. It has been called a Mulligan in comparison to Microsoft when it was coming up. Just a consideration.
