  1. You willing to indemnify anyone taking that advice?
  2. Ask him if he has plans to make one of those, if so when. He is typically 5 steps ahead of where we are at any given time. Well then by all means go ahead. Post your results. Sell plans. Advertise flatpacks. I would suggest your consult with an IP attorney first.
  3. Well great, so you are offering to pay for a patent attorney (at $700 an hour) for anyone who followed your "advice" to explain to McConnell how it's not really infringement because of this guy Chris on the Forum says they really the "same thing." You would probably be named as a defendant anyway for suggesting it in the first place.
  4. It is illegal. It's unethical. It's immoral, and by gosh, it's downright un-American. People can rationalize doing it any way they want to. Putting all of that aside, simply ask Roy in a couple of weeks when you have him cornered if he can share whether/when a 1502 will be available and you know he will tell you if he can. If it a long ways off ask him if he can help you build something scaled down. If he can, he will (if he likes you and you are not too big a bonehead), if he can't, he can't and he will say so.
  5. I don't speak for KGI. They have a Communication Department headed by a very nice person, Jill. They have a General Counsel and a lead-pipe wielding patent litigation firm. It is illegal to copy something that is patented. You do not need to intend to sell it. You do not have to show lost profits. The very act of copying a patented product is infringement. A patent holder can lose a patent if they have knowledge it is being infringed and they don't seek to protect it. Tom Danley is a 12 man, maybe $5 million company. He is accountable only to himself. KGI is a 400 employee approximately $250 million company that is a wholly owned subsidiary of a publicly traded company that is owned by stockholders. KGI is accountable to the Board of Directors of Voxx, and ultimately to its stockholders. As a practical matter, if you built something, didn't post pictures of it all over the internet, no one is going to know, including the patent holder. Edit (hit send to soon): Now how this would probably work in the real world with JC and Carl is, like others have done in the past, is they would do the right thing and ask Roy "hey, I cannot put a 1802 in my house, would you mind if I made a scaled down version of it." They would do this, and JC has actually done this, because they are decent, well raised, and respectful people. Roy would tell them what he could or couldn't do to help them. They want to keep the people in Hope busy, they want the plant to flourish wherever they can and they buy from the factory if it is available. JC could make a pair of Jubilee bass bins with his eyes closed, he has always said that he buys them from the factory because they are a product currently for sale by KGI.
  6. It's patented. @CECAA850 or @jwc or @Edgar don't want to be getting a letter and having to respond to the firm of Indiano and McConnell.
  7. Don't forget 31" wide, measure every door.
  8. What solution do you use in there to clean? Do you run it through US first?
  9. I would expect nothing less from you. You NEVER cease to amaze me.
  10. The Museum has a single speaker for sale that would be the perfect center for a pair of 904s.
  11. I think Roy gave Corey his setting for the Xlica, you might check with @MetropolisLakeOutfitters So more bass. What do you typically listen to? Are your doors/room wide enough for an 1802? EDIT: Yes they are, lucky you. You get that 1802 in there and you will never say "I need more bass" again. They look great, you are going to have a lot of fun for a long time coming. LaScalla's in 1977? That is amazing.
  12. Thank you to Dr. Matt Smith for purchasing items 19 and 20, pair of Ki-172 (black). Travis
  13. Thank you to @kharmondds for purchasing Item No.s 5 and 6, Ki-396s with "Powered by Klipsch Audio" on each grill, Stand Cup on bottom. Travis
  14. Congratulations to @cincymat on his purchase of Item H-1 and H-2, the Chief Bonehead Edition Black Heresys!. Thank you for your continued support of the Klipsch Museum of Audio History. Travis
  15. You have Roy's settings for the 32 bass boost? I think they are part of the Xilica settings. I think I have read, just like with the DX 38, that on rare, rare occasions you may see one light flicker on the level meters.

  18. The emails have all gone out to the Founders Circle and Khorn Corps members. If you are a Founders Circle or Khorn Corps level member and you don't have an email from me please PM me immediately. I will be sending the rest out tonight when I get back, about 10 p.m. central time. Travis
  19. Me either, but in the event there was a screen available for it, I wanted it to be clear that this one doesn't have it (and to test @CECAA850). Thank you for pointing that out Carl, there are a lot of nuances on these products that I got help on (you included). Some people knew one product and referred me to others. I never thought to ask if came with a grill like the 684-SMA. For example, the Ki-102 has a grill option that is a seperate part number, you can order them with, or without grills. Since the 684 typically goes behind a screen, or under a stage, there would be no need for a screen, unless being moved around a lot. If someone really wants a screen I think there are some choices out there. If anyone sees anything else that might be in error or confusing, please let me know in here or PM. Travis
  20. Emails will be going out in the next couple of hours. The PRICE LIST IS UP, go to the FIRST POST in this thread and there will be a pdf attachment.
  21. I see that, so if you have a deed, that has wrong legal description, that is color of title and adverse possessor only has a 3 year statute to satisfy. The public policy would be with conflicting deeds, you need to resolve them quickly before tresassor begins to detrimentaly rely on his erroneous legal description. For a person who adversely possesses and pays property taxes (which almost never happens) then there is a 5 year statute. Everything else is ten years. Does a standard Texas title policy provide coverage of a detainer, quiet title action? Or does it require the much more expensive ALTA policy to cover property disputes? Plant italian cypress down the row every five feet. Stake you claim and helo enviornment at same time.
  22. That list is very, very cool. Amazing how much time some people have. I'm glad he made the list. Travis
