  1. My guess is that piracy represents 95% of the total of legitimate sales, or in other words they figure they should be making almost twice as much money if there were no piracy.
  2. Westie, I've never driven a car with a speed limiter but many with a rev limiter.
  3. As for tires, the 3 series is tail happy especially in the wet so wet traction is a big factor in the buying decision. Tires should be purchased based on experience with a particular car and driving style, it's a very personal choice.
  4. Oldtimer, I agree, something fishy about the whole story, just like all the brake failures when there is an accident, but no apparent problem afterwards, or all the females that get pregnant "but I was on the pill" when the pill is 99.9% clinically proven effective. The numbers don't add up, or like the photo shopped picture of that car and train..... As for the electronic fuel injection, I'm not a mechanic, just a gear head. I've never worked on electronic fuel injection, but I have worked on mechanical settups. Roger I've run up the revs to get the limiter to kick in a few times. It's a real buzz kill. The 71 alfa doesn't have one so one is only limited by their intelligence for potentially blowing the engine. Haven't hit the limiter for the 91 alfa either, come to think of it.
  5. Twisted, when a rev limiter kicks in it actually lowers the revs below the peak that it kicks in. For the sake of this case I get the impression no limiter kicks in, because if it did a driver would gain a sense of what to do.
  6. Drivers don't drive automatics. The day I drive an automatic is the day I am physically unable to drive a standard, and then there might be a case for not driving at all.
  7. Spaghetti and gopher balls for Lidge.
  8. It's impossible not to like Yogi. He's also a very astute judge of talent who said that Ivan Rodriguez is the best catcher he's ever seen. I couldn't agree more. C'mon phillies, don't let the cause of good vs. evil suffer another setback!
  9. I hate the yankees, this game is great.
  10. Face it. Tears for fears are ****. Groom, you're a victim of the hypnotoad.
  11. If you don't have rotel just use Pace picante sauce.
  12. If you don't want free air you can always build in some boxes. We did that in college once with some pioneer.
  13. The man, indeed! Amps, tubes, receivers...the twins!...why is it so easy for you to score? His signature explains it.
  14. You do know how many drummers there are on this forum eh thebes? Maybe we'll get together and pay you a visit, you know, all friendly like...[A]
  15. Thebes...[:@]...no drummers...[8o|]...[li]
  16. he just feels guilty for never sending me Hammer of Thor. []
  17. So what does it all mean? (that some people scare easily). On the flip side, we are using the same scale for music that was established about 400 years ago. Now who's scared?
  18. Thebes, please. Don't be a yankees fan. You know friends don't let friends be.....
  19. I've heard through a reputable source that they sound even better when placed on bungs.
  20. I'm not sure they really came with much of a manual. The drivers are probably fine, the only consideration might be a new crossover, but if they sound ok now, take your time on any upgrades.
  21. Maybe it's academic but the yanks aren't in yet. Still (barely) time for the angels to get their slugfest act going. Either way I'm with JB, go phillies!
