  1. I had rolled 4 300's before this, but all in practice or just fun bowling. My previous high in league play was the dreaded 299! The strange thing about the ball is that it was with an older ball that I hadn't used in a while. I have been struggling with the two I normally use ( a Hammer Big Diesel or Hammer Hawg depending on lane conditions) so I pulled out a ball from early last year (Storm Recharge) and everything just clicked! Oh and m00n - I still have a couple of Yellow Dots, too. The best ball in the world when it came out!
  2. I am a Texas Rangers fan, which should give you an idea how I feel about the Angels, but I agree that in a year filled with bad officiating, this was by far the worst!
  3. I would love to go listen to it all and find out for myself how it sounds!
  4. I just had to brag to someone... I rolled my first ever 300 in competition in league tonight! 217 - 209 - 300 for a 726 series! [<)] OK, now back to your regularly schedule audio discussions!
  5. Hey Tom, Might you be willing to build a set of walnut risers (angled) for my Heresies using factory dimensions? I have watched a couple of pairs on ebay lately, but they either go out of my price range or the sellers strikes me as a bit on the questionable side.
  6. Dangit Doc! Everytime you post lately it gets my mind racing with new ideas that I still can't afford untill the stepkids are out of college! I have started collecting parts for the subs, though! []
  7. A "Small" DIY Sub? [] What driver did you use? Looks good, BTW!
  8. It is slowed down a bit from the actual video, but she is saying "But I Love it"
  9. Now she is just another Brittney/Christina Pop Diva wanna be. What a waste of an amazing voice!
  10. Don't look now, but someone stuck a house on top of that very nice hole in the ground that you had going there!!
  11. It is slowed down a bit from the actual video, but she is saying "But I Love it"
  12. All this posting about m00n's avitar and now mine has dissapeared! [:^)]
  13. It is Charlotte Church! She sure did age well!!! It is from the video for her song "Call My Name" Interesting Trivia... She used double sided tape to insure that nothing "escaped!"
  14. You guys realize who that is? Charlotte Church! Yes, That Charlotte Church! For some reason I always picture her as that 13 y/o with the angelic voice! [] She sure has grown up!!!
  15. Currently I drive a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 (no hemi, just a small V8). If money was no object I would have a lot of trouble deciding which of my large stable of cars to drive each morning.
  16. What she said. Although I think it is actually spelled Aronoff. [] One of the most versatile drummers on the planet. Also agree with most mentioned here. My faves: Mike Portnoy Carl Palmer Neal Peart Kenny Aronoff Pat Mastelotto John Bonham Jukka Nevalainen Among others...
  17. I absolutely Hate my job, but if I died tomorrow my life would not be wasted. My job is just that, my job. It pays the bills and does so well enough that I can't really afford to start over. My Life, on the other hand, is defined by the kind of person I have been and the things I have accomplished.
  18. I am a Lead Facilities Technician for a Semiconductor manufacturing plant. All that is a fancy way of saying that I run the Utility Plant.
  19. They are now officially ready for veneer. she filled all the staple holes, calked the seam around the motorboard and painted the black parts back to a nice flat black. then.... she surrendered! [] She has decided after a few test runs that she is not ready to do veneer on these cabinets so she sweet talked her dad into paying to have them done. She said thanks for all the help and suggestions, but she just does not want to ruin these now that they are starting to look so good! A smart move in my oppinion!
  20. Well, after a lot of filling and sanding, she has arrived at two very smooth cabinets with nice sharp corners. She just happened to use the Minwax wood filler recommended here, because the man at the place where she bought it told her it was the best for her purposes. She wanted me to ask if you guys think she should fill the staple impressions on the front and the small gap around the board the drivers mount to before she repaints the black part. I think it will look better if she does, but she wants to make sure she doesn't do something that she shouldn't after all the work she has put into them.
  21. I personally think that bidder needs his head examined! I hope it is not someone here, but he should have just hit the BIN Button and took them! I bet they go Over $2000 now!

  24. Hmmm... Mine is not on there... I bought new heritage before 2000... 1985 Heresy 1.5's purchased new from the Navy Exchange catalog in 1985. I also inherited a pair of Heresies from a friend who passed away last year, that I gave back to my friends wife after she lost her other speakers in a fire.
